The French goalkeeper's botched clearance allowed Ola Toivonen to score the game-winner from midfield
France was seemingly on its way to securing a result in a World Cup qualifier against Sweden on Thursday, but Hugo Lloris' blunder in stoppage time gifted the victory to the Swedes.
With the match deadlocked at 1-1 in the third minute of stoppage time, Lloris collected the ball at the top of his penalty area and, instead of clearing it to safety, decided to take a touch around an advancing Swedish attacker. With acres of space to put the ball, he struck it toward midfield, where Ola Toivonen quickly pounced and unleashed a half-field lob into the empty French goal.
