The former Vasco da Gama shot-stopper had a moment to forget in his side's Portuguese top-flight encounter at Estadio Manuel Branco Teixeira

Rio Ave were their own worst enemy against Chaves on Sunday, luckily emerging from their Primeira Liga clash with a point.

Chaves went ahead thanks to a superb solo goal from Fabio Martins, but the visitors managed to equalise through Guedes. However, the hosts reclaimed the lead less than 10 minutes later and they had some bonkers goalkeeping from Brazilian shot-stopper Cassio to thank.

The 36-year-old, who counts Vasco da Gama among his former clubs, completely misjudged his intervention and, instead of meeting the ball, collided with his own player, allowing Pedro Tiba a clear run on goal, which he duly took.
