VAR was in the spotlight again on Saturday as Las Palmas hoped to claim a penalty against Barcelona in the 80th minute only to see their appeals turned down.
The hosts felt Eric Garcia had handled the ball and match referee Cordero Vega was called to check the footage on the screen.
Eric admitted after the game that the ball had touched his arm but felt there were at least two offences that should have been called before.
One was an offside that had seemed fairly obvious and was eventually picked up by the match officials.
