A group of thieves robbed amateur side Selsey Rovers of £2,500 worth of equipment and robbed its pitch of its safe-for-work aesthetics.

Now that's just mean.

But such is the sad story from the club based in Luton last weekend.

The club woke up to not only cones, barriers, corner flags and their full-sized posts ripped from the ground, but also graffiti in the form of a five-foot-long penis on the pitch.
