Jun 30, 2016 12:33:30 AM

Will Johnson scored a 95th-minute goal to lift Toronto FC to its first Canadian Championship title since 2012.

Will Johnson scored in dramatic fashion as Toronto FC won the 2016 Canadian Championship thanks to a 2-1 loss against the Vancouver Whitecaps in the second leg of the final. TFC won the title by virtue of the away goals tiebreaker, as the Ontario side was victorious thanks to a 1-0 scoreline in last week's opening leg at BMO Field.

Johnson's last-gasp goal capped a spirited affair at BC Place that saw the Whitecaps come within seconds of raising the Voyageurs Cup for a second straight year.
