Valencia furious at West Ham over injury treatment

The striker lashed out at his club for "forgetting" about his injury, enraged that too little has been done to identify and solve the problem, as he considers leaving.

West Ham striker Enner Valencia is furious at his club, believing that the Hammers have "forgotten" about him since picking up an injury.

The Ecuador international injured his leg during the Londoners' Europa League match against Astra Giurgiu on Aug. 2 and was subsequently ruled out for three months.

However, Valencia – who scored four Premier League goals last season – claims to have been kept in the dark over his condition and accused the club of preventing him from seeking his own medical care.
