The U.S. Women's National Team fared just fine in their first game under new head coach Emma Hayes, routing South Korea 4-0 in an international friendly on Saturday.
Hayes was named head coach in November but finished out the season with Chelsea Women before joining the USWNT for training camp. Saturday's international friendly marked her first match with the team.
The USWNT took a 1-0 lead in the 34th minute thanks to a goal from Mallory Swanson, and Tierna Davidson gave them some insurance just four minutes later.
After halftime, the USWNT struck early in the 48th minute as Davidson notched her second goal to give her squad a 3-0 lead.
