U.S. coach Jill Ellis named her 23 player roster for the 2015 Women's World Cup
FC Kansas City will be well represented at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup with four players selected to the 23 player roster. Blues' captain Becky Sauerbrunn, Lauren Holiday, Heather O'Reilly and Amy Rodriguez all made the cut.
Sauerbrunn and Holiday were definitely not a surprise, they have been consistent, regular starters for the U.S. over the last couple years.
Rodriguez was a big question mark since she had missed all of 2013 NWSL season while having a baby but her comeback with FC Kansas City last year pole vaulted her back into the mix.
