With the 2015 Women's World Cup a little less than two months away, the United States women's national team announced its 23-player roster on Tuesday evening.

Head coach Jill Ellis talked about the group of players selected, per Fox Sports 1 on Twitter:

There are more than a few mainstays on this unit, most notably Hope Solo, Alex Morgan, Abby Wambach, Megan Rapinoe, Christie Rampone and Carli Lloyd, among others.
