The United States women's national soccer team may have been hosting Haiti in a friendly, but the World Cup champion certainly didn't treat it like an exhibition as Carli Lloyd's hat trick led a 5-0 onslaught Thursday night.
And it could have been much worse.
But that's nitpicking. Christen Press and Crystal Dunn also scored for the United States, which took a three-goal lead into the half and coasted in the second frame, cycling through the bench and enjoying its decisive victory.
The domination was both expected and complete. The U.S. held 79 percent of possession, outshot Haiti 40-0 (17-0 on goal) and earned nine corners compared to just one for the visitors, per ESPN.
