The American attacker joins the Danish top-flight club after spending two and a half seasons in the Netherlands.
U.S. international attacker Rubio Rubin has completed a deadline-day transfer from Dutch club FC Utrecht to Danish side Silkeborg IF.
Rubin, 20, joins on a contract until the end of the season, the Danish club confirmed.
The Oregon native broke out with Utrecht as an 18-year-old in the 2014-15 season, becoming a regular for the club. An ankle injury hampered his progress the following season though, causing Rubin to miss six months.
This season, Rubin made just one appearance for Utrecht's senior side, and has spent time with the Eredivisie club's reserves.
