The U.S. men's national team Gold Cup squad includes 17 players from the 2014 World Cup team.
U.S. national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann released his 23-man Gold Cup roster on Tuesday, and he went heavy on experience.
Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradly headline a roster that features 17 members of the 2014 U.S. World Cup roster and is light on inexperienced players despite the team's recent success with youngsters in friendly wins over the Netherlands and Germany.
“I think we keep on being in a certain way in a transition period, because always when you have new talent coming through, you never want to stop transitioning," Klinsmann said.
