It's hard to blame ter Stegen for any of the four goals he gave up, the only one he actually had a chance was the second, but Jose Antonio Reyes placed that header very well. Though one thing is certain, while he didn’t make any mistakes that cost Barcelona, he also didn’t make any game-changing plays either. Ter Stegen was solid in the air game, claiming numerous crosses and making a strong punch out late in regulation. Positionally he was mostly solid, but on occasion he was left scrambling to get in the perfect spot.
