Robert Lewandowski says Wojciech Szczu0119sny will only need “two weeks” of training to be ready for action with Barcelona.
The two players have been reunited again at Barcelona, with Szczesny coming out of retirement to play for the Catalan giants.
Lewandowski has been asked about the new signing while on international duty with Poland and offered up the following insight into his move.
“I can reveal that before Wojtek parted ways with Juventus, he told me that the only option for him to continue playing was FC Barcelona,” he told reporters.
“He did not go out of circulation during his temporary retirement - on the contrary, he gained some freshness, and two weeks of calm training at the club will be enough for him.
