Last weekend, before Sporting Kansas City pulled out the win against the Chicago Fire, I went to Twitter to see if my followers thought Peter Vermes should be fired. Sporting were on a two-game losing streak, including a 5-1 home loss to Los Angeles Football Club. The club sat in last place and the season had been beyond poor up to that point.
First, to be perfectly clear, I and no one at The Blue Testament believe that Peter Vermes should be fired. It’s a bad season, sure, but injuries and other factors have played a huge part and it’s far from over.
