Tuesday Champions League Roundup: Shaw Suffers Broken Leg, Juventus Stun City

UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night as full-back Luke Shaw suffered a broken leg during a 2-1 defeat at PSV Eindhoven.

Shaw, 20, had been enjoying a good start to the season but is now likely to face a lengthy layoff following a horrific injury. The incident occurred during the first half in Eindhoven, when PSV defender Hector Moreno slid into a challenge as Shaw entered the opposition's box.

After a delay of about 10 minutes—during which Shaw received oxygen while lying on the pitch—Shaw left the game on a stretcher. Referee Nicola Rizzoli did not call a foul on the play, nor did he discipline Moreno.
