Trinidad and Tobago will face U.S. women in Olympic qualifying semifinals

Trinidad and Tobago scored three goals in the first 16 minutes and went on to defeat Guyana, 5-1, on Tuesday to earn a spot in the semifinals at the CONCACAF women's Olympic qualifying tournament.

The Soca Warriors will face the top-ranked U.S. national team in a semifinal Friday, with the winner earning a spot in the Olympics this summer in Rio de Janeiro. The first semifinal will be Costa Rica against Canada, which routed Guatemala, 10-0, behind three goals apiece from Rebecca Quinn and Nichelle Prince.

In Trinidad and Tobago's victory, Kennya Cordner, Mariah Shade and an own goal gave the Soca Warriors a commanding lead before Ahkeela Mollon added a goal in the 21st minute.
