Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly rejected Real Madrid's opening bid to sign striker Harry Kane after a Spanish journalist said Los Merengues offered £177 million for his signature.
Mikael McKenzie of the Daily Express cited a report from Eduardo Inda, a journalist who features on Spanish show El Chiringuito TV, who said the offer consisted of a £155 million cash sum along with £22 million in add-ons.
The reported offer is not far from the world-record £200 million sum that took Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona last summer, evidence of just how highly rated Kane comes.
