Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele is said to be keen to sign a new three-year contract extension at the club.
According to Matt Law of the Daily Telegraph, the Belgium international wants to extend his deal until 2022. He'll have just a year left to run on his current term at the end of the campaign.
However, according to Law, the desire for a contract of this length may cast doubt over the midfielder's future.
"Given Dembele's injury record, it would represent a big risk for Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to agree to a pay increase that would effectively run for four more years from this summer," said Law.
