Tottenham Hotspur's transformation from soft-hearted, brittle, upper mid-table chancers to genuine title contenders has been so sudden that sometimes, it's hard to accept. This is, after all, the team that Sir Alex Ferguson took so lightly that the entirety of his teamtalk one season was, "Lads. It's Tottenham," and then he walked out. But now look at them! Not just beating Manchester City 2-0 but doing it superbly. Spurs looked composed and professional throughout the game.
