While Juventus and Tottenham left a raft of Euro 2016 stars behind, Atleti is heading to Australia with a relatively strong squad
While Antoine Griezmann won't make the trip, Atletico Madrid has arguably announced the strongest squad for the Australian leg of the International Champions Cup.
Griezmann and Koke are the biggest omissions from Diego Simeone's 24-man squad for Atletico's trip to Melbourne, but with Fernando Torres, Gabi, Diego Godin and Jan Oblak included, the Champions League runner-up looks to be much stronger than Juventus and Tottenham.
Atleti, which left Spain on Tuesday, will take on Tottenham on Friday at the MCG before facing A-League club Melbourne Victory in Geelong on Sunday.
