The 28-year-old joins TFC after an extensive career throughout Europe.
Tosaint Ricketts has joined Toronto FC after having spent several weeks training with the MLS side.
The 28-year-old attacker was announced by the club as its newest acquisition on Wednesday. He is expected to help provide a spark for a TFC attack that has struggled all season long.
Once he sets foot on the pitch for Toronto, Ricketts will make his North American professional debut. The Canadian international has never plied his trade domestically since becoming a professional in 2009. In that time, he has featured for clubs at various levels in Finland, Romania, Norway, Turkey and Israel.
