The Liga MX playoffs are set with Tigres holding the one seed and a Clasico Tapatio on tap.
The Liga MX regular season ended Sunday with Morelia topping Chivas, 3-2. The result keeps Chivas from entering the eight-team postseason as the No. 1 seed and sets up a Clasico Tapatio with Guadalajara rival Atlas in the first round of the Liguilla.
The first seed instead goes to Tigres, which played to a scoreless draw with Toluca on Sunday to go to the top of the table. Awaiting them in the first round is eight seed Santos, in the Liguilla in part because of Tigres keeping Toluca from victory.
