Tigres heading back to top in city, Liga MX

After a slow start to the Apertura, Tuca Ferretti's squad can once again claim to be the best team in Monterrey, and perhaps in the entire country.

Andre-Pierre Gignac used no words, yet he said it all.

Those faces, which the Tigres forward sent after cross-town rival Monterrey went crashing out of the CONCACAF Champions League after a second loss to Arabe Unido, mean that the city is firmly in Tigres control.

A visit from Puebla this weekend doesn't seem likely to stop the powerful machine that manager Tuca Ferretti has functioning once again, not the way it's running over opponents.
