The reigning Liga MX champion has signed the Chile international from German side Hoffenheim.
Chile international Eduardo Vargas has signed with Tigres from Hoffenheim, the Liga MX side announced Friday.
Goal Mexico reported Wednesday that the club was in talks to bring the attacker in, and Tigres' sporting director Miguel Angel Garza Martinez said Friday that Vargas will arrive in northern Mexico on Sunday morning, signing a four-year deal with the team.
The reigning Liga MX champion bid farewell to Andy Delort earlier this week, with the French forward returning to his native country to sign with Toulouse.
