Montreal is coming off a thrilling end to the 2015 campaign, but there is work to be done to extend that form into next year, writes Nick Sabetti.
Stability was not a word that one would associate with the Montreal Impact, but that might begin to change.
The Impact will enter the coming year in the strongest position they’ve ever been in since joining MLS in 2012. They have retained the same coach in Mauro Biello who, compared to the coaches of the last four seasons, appears to be the most capable; they have a roster that will require few alterations; and they will be able to take full advantage of their new training facility from the beginning of the season.
