Though it’s not as bad as it could have been

Rafinha had to be substituted off in Barcelona’s 4-1 win over Granada, and tests today confirm he had an injury in the meniscus of his right knee. He is likely to miss both legs against Juventus in the UEFA Champions League and the upcoming league Clasico against Real Madrid.

Thankfully though, the injury appears to be relatively slight, meaning it’s not as bad as it could have been.

He will be under observation for the next 48 hours to determine the best course of treatment for him. Hopefully he’ll be back in about a month.
