The LA Galaxy looked unstoppable recently, but a mini-slump has given other teams hope of snatching up trophies that previously seemed destined for California.

As recently as three weeks ago, the LA Galaxy looked like a juggernaut headed for a sweep of every major trophy attainable for MLS teams. Two disappointing results in a row have suddenly shown the star-studded Galaxy to be a bit vulnerable, though how much remains to be seen.

The Montreal Impact escaped the StubHub Center with a 0-0 tie against the Galaxy, and that result was made even more impressive by the fact the Impact didn't sit back and bunker in.
