Three players have been shown their second yellow card of the tournament in the first half of France's match against Ireland and will be suspended for the quarterfinals.

Ireland midfielder Jeff Hendrick, plus France midfielder N'Golo Kante and defender Adil Rame, were booked in the first half by Italian official Nicola Rizzoli, the 2014 World Cup final referee.

They are set to be suspended for one match if their team advances.

UEFA wipes all yellow cards from each player's disciplinary record after the quarterfinal round.
