Teun Wilke and Efrain Alvarez lead U-17 Training Camp for CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers

With Herenveen sensation, Teun Wilke and LA Galaxy’s young star Efrain Alvarez leading the way, the Mexico U-17s begun their big training camp for the U-17 CONCACAF Championship. The camp started on Monday in Acapulco, where it will continue until Saturday April 6, when it will move to Mexico City. The camp will continue in Mexico City until Thursday April 11th when they will close out with a friendly against Costa Rica in the Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CAR).

Along with Wilke and Alvarez, the most notable call up is that of Atlas defender Jesus Gomez, who has gotten minutes with Atlas and has scored goals in Copa MX (against UdeG) and in the recent friendly against America in the United States.
