Tecatito and Damm on target as Mexico beat Honduras 2-0

Mexico struck twice in the second half to earn their first victory in Honduran soil in 22 years with a 2-0 victory over Los Catrachos on Tuesday.

After a physical first half from Honduras that saw Luis Garrido suffer a horrific leg injury, both teams headed into the break scoreless.

In the second half, the hosts started to fade, with second half substitute Jesus "Tecatito" Corona keen to make an impression for El Tri.

Just six minutes into his introduction, the 22-year-old forward found the back of the net with a brilliant reception and even more stunning finish to give Mexico the lead.
