The former England coach is saddened the Football League is having to look into implementing the 'Rooney Rule' to boost the numbers of black managers.
Former England manager Graham Taylor says it is a shame the Football League is having to implement the 'Rooney Rule' to boost the number of black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) managers in English football.
"You could almost argue it's a shame that they've had to come to this," Taylor told Goal. "My own personal point of view, and I can say this with a lot of confidence because people only have to look at my career as a manager, you pick a player on his ability not on the color of his skin.
