Sydney FC fans will need to break the bank if they want to travel to Sunday's A-League grand final in Perth with airlines skyrocketing ticket prices as demand rises.
After last weekend's incredible 6-1 demolition of arch-rivals Melbourne Victory in the semi-final, the Sky Blues earned the right to take on Premiers Perth Glory in the league's pinnacle match at Optus Stadium on May 19.
But qualifying for the grand final was a poisoned chalice for Sydney FC supporters, with the 3280km between the Harbour City and Perth proving extremely difficult to travel cheaply and timely.

In addition to buying a $50 ticket for the match and accomodation costs, Sky Blues will have to fork out more than $675 for return flights for the game - and that isn't even including checked-in baggage.
