A pair of boots designed to celebrate the final matches of Steven Gerrard at Liverpool have sold for £40,200 on eBay.
Gerrard's limited-edition Adidas Predators were donated by podcast The Anfield Wrap to raise money for the British Red Cross Europe Refugee Appeal, per the Liverpool Echo.
One hundred and eighty-five bids were made for the boots before the 6 p.m. deadline on Sunday, 15 November, with the lucky winner now set to get their hands on the rather expensive prize.
Gerrard ended his Anfield career with a 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace a week before Liverpool lost 6-1 to Stoke City on the final day of the 2014/15 Premier League season.
