The Los Angeles Football Club, a Major League Soccer expansion franchise set to debut in 2018, plans to build a $250 million, 22,000-seat stadium on the site of the old Sports Arena next to Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The plans still need approval from the Coliseum Commission and the Los Angeles City Council.
