Sporting KC reserves have long been adoringly referred to as the Swope Park Rangers and most fans were hoping the name of the new USL team would offically don the nickname. After a page became active on the official website recently, the team decided to let us know they are never gonna tell a lie and hurt us.
If our poll is any indication, SKC fans want to see the new USL team to be named the Swope Park Rangers. Like really.. really badly want it.
