The Major League Soccer Waiver Draft is not normally a high volume of movement and the 2019 edition was no different. There only four players selected in the Waiver Draft. Sporting Kansas City had the fourth overall pick (not a good thing) and decided to pass.
Two players from Sporting KC were available in the Waiver Draft but neither Nicolas Hasler or Gedion Zelalem were selected.
FC Cincinnati with nothing to lose and the first pick (congrats on the Wooden Spoon) selected Haris Medunjanin, formerly of the Philadelphia Union.
