The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have confirmed that the Spanish Super Cup between Barcelona and Sevilla will take place in Tangier, Morocco on August 12.
The Super Cup will be a single game which will take place at the Stade Ibn Battout, which has a capacity of 45,000, with kick off set for 10pm local time.
The announcement is unlikely to go down well with Sevilla who have already made their anger at the decision known.
The club released a statement “to publicly express its absolute disagreement with the decision made” and have called it “unjust”.
