Spain boss Luis de la Fuente and his technical staff are reportedly considering calling up Barcelona midfielder Gavi for next month’s Nations League fixtures.
Gavi has only just returned from a very long injury lay-off but could be handed a straight recall to the national team, according to Relevo.
La Roja are said to “want to recover Gavi for the cause as soon as possible” and are weighing up whether to call him up in November or wait until March.
Gavi has made just three substitute appearances since returning to fitness, playing a total of 15 minutes, with Barca being understandably cautious after such a serious injury.
