The U.S. national team fullback is still waiting on a loan move away from Tottenham as the transfer deadline cuts down his potential destinations considerably.
At one point, an intriguing option from a German Bundesliga club looked very possible. Another moment, a loan move to a Dutch club seemed like the perfect fit. Unfortunately for U.S. national team defender DeAndre Yedlin, none of a dozen potential loan moves came to fruition before the end of the European transfer deadline on Monday.
Yedlin is now left with significantly fewer options as September rolls in.
Sources have confirmed to Goal USA that Tottenham passed on offers from the Netherlands and Germany, with options from the likes of Belgium and Turkey also failing to convince Tottenham to move the former Seattle Sounders fullback.
