The former prodigy, fresh off an unsuccessful trial with the Portland Timbers, is weighing an offer from Polish second-division club Sandecja Nowy Sacz, a source close to Adu confirmed to Goal. Reports surfaced on Tuesday suggesting Adu is close to signing, but Goal's source says Adu only received the offer on Tuesday, and has not accepted it, nor has yet to travel to Poland to finalize it, contrary to reports in Poland.
