Solskjaer can become Manchester United's Zidane - Brandy

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can emulate Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid success following his appointment as Manchester United’s new permanent manager, according to one of Solskjaer’s former players Febian Brandy.

Solskjaer’s appointment on a three-year contract was confirmed early Thursday morning following a stunning spell as caretaker which saw the Red Devils beat Paris St-Germain in the Champions League to reach the quarter-finals - where they will face Barcelona - and surge back into contention for a top-four place in the Premier League.

United have won 14 of the Norwegian’s 19 matches in charge thus far, with the ex-Man Utd striker making the best start of any manager in the club’s history by winning all of his first eight games in charge.
