SANTIAGO, June 15 (Reuters) - Hosts Chile had to come from behind twice before themselves being pegged back by Mexico in a thrilling 3-3 Group A clash at the Copa America on Monday.
Mexico opened the scoring through striker Matias Vuoso before Arturo Vidal equalised with a powerful header.
Raul Jimenez restored Mexico's lead with a header from a corner before Chile's Eduardo Vargas made the score 2-2 just before halftime.
Chile took the lead for the first time in the match in the 55th minute, Vidal scoring from the penalty spot after he had been pulled down in the box by Gerardo Flores.
