Turkish Super Lig side, Sivasspor have announced the loan signing of Henri Saivet from Newcastle United after agreeing to personal terms with the player.
The Senegal international joined the Magpies in January 2016 from Bordeaux for €6 million and penned a five-and-a-half-year contract.
The midfielder made four appearances for the first team of the St James' Park’s outfit this term before his departure.
“Sivasspor have secured Henri Saivet, an offensive midfielder who plays for England's Newcastle United team, until the end of the 2017-2018 season,” read a statement on the club’s website.
“Our vice president signed his contract at Erdal Saru0131lar's office, which binds him to Sivasspor.
