The Bundesliga club travelled by train to Bielefeld on Sunday ahead of Monday's cup tie against the second tier team, but the bus that was coming to pick the team up was met by a man on a motorcycle who pulled out a gun and fired shots.
No one was injured as the players were not yet on the bus when the incident happened, but a bullet hole was found on the windscreen of the vehicle.
