Dani Olmo was back in training with Barcelona on Wednesday as the players and manager Hansi Flick had their first session of 2025.
The Spain star was said to be “serious and sad” as he waits to find out if he will be able to play for Barcelona in the second half of the season.
Diario AS report that Olmo seemed “sad and depressed” and “could not hide from his teammates his enormous concern about his situation.”
His team-mates did try their best to cheer up him, with Pedri, Gavi and Raphinha in particular seen “consoling and encouraging” Olmo throughout the session.
