Former Liverpool and Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has had his contract terminated by Ternana less than a month after he joined the club.
Initial fanfare greeted the news that the Serie B side had pulled off something of a coup by landing the player that won the FA Cup and Super Cup during his time at Anfield, while he also achieved success with Valencia and PSG.
But just 25 days later Ternana have made the decision to release the 32-year-old midfielder, seemingly due to concerns over his attitude.
The club's sporting director Danilo Pagni has since revealed that Sissoko was "intolerant to the technical choices" made by manager Fabio Liverani, who had wanted to name Sissoko on the bench for Sunday's Serie A B clash with Trapani.
