Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto has been approached by Eredivisie giants Ajax about a possible summer move.
Roberto is now a free agent after his contract expired at the end of June. He had been expected to sign a new deal but that now seems highly unlikely.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says that Roberto is now thinking about a move to the Netherlands.
He posted on X: “Sergi Roberto, considering options as free agent with Ajax among clubs approaching him. Ajax have genuine interest, Sergi will assess all options in the next days. Sergi Roberto, set to part ways with Barça as free agent.
