Barcelona will have to cope without Sergio Busquets for their next La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
The 31-year-old picked up his fifth booking of the season on Saturday against Leganes for a late challenge on Roque Mesa in the first half.
The yellow card means he will now serve a one-match ban and will sit out the trip to the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.
Busquets has started eight of Barca’s 13 La Liga games this season and all four of their Champions League group stages.
Ernesto Valverde will now have to figure out who will come in to replace Busquets and has plenty of options with Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal the most likely candidates.
