Barcelona have finally announced that at 32 years of age, club captain last season, Sergi Roberto, has bid farewell to the club.
Technically without a club at the time of writing, he is expected to sign for new employers in the next few days and that clean break is probably best for everyone at this point in time.
Wherever he ends up, he should go there with the best wishes of all culers.
